Okay, the latest D. Gray-Man chapter made up for the weeks and weeks focusing on brat Timothy, AND the hiatus, AND the pointlessness of the zombie arc, AND . . . well, nothing can atone for the Lulubelle fillers. But this made up for EVERYTHING ELSE!

Word has it that we're getting the D. Gray-Man manga back in April. Apparently, the mangaka was dealing with "wrist problems" - probably carpal tunnel. This is terrific news. Now, if the new about Cantarella returning a month or so after D. Gray-Man are true as well (I just hope someone scanlates the new chapters; there doesn't seem to be anything ( Read more... )

So I spent my day off today at Smithville, a little shopping village about 50 miles south from here built in a cluster of old houses from the 1800s. The cooking store alone was worth the trip, it's made of several smaller houses strung together and just keeps going and going and going.
